The Melcher-Dallas Boys Basketball Squad had Coach John Suntken back on the bench, and nearly won in his return falling to Wayne on Tuesday 69-57. Suntken had been out last week for health and safety reasons and told KNIA Sports the team did not play well in the first half and it cost them. Chase Ripperger led the Saints with 21 points, Logan Godfrey and Max Enfield scored 15 points. The Saints finish the regular season at 4-16 and will travel to BCLUW on Friday for the opening round of the class 1A District.
