The Central College wrestling team’s Shandon Akeo and Rob Areyano remained in the rankings this week in D3wrestle.com’s eighth edition of the rankings.

Akeo is number three at 125 pounds while Areyano is number six at 149 pounds. Akeo is 13-0 this season, and 1-0 against other wrestlers in the rankings, having defeated number five Alex Friddle of Coe College by an 11-0 major decision in November. Areyano is 15-2 on the year and currently riding a 12-match winning streak. 

Central has a triangular Wednesday night in Oskaloosa against William Penn University at 6:30 p.m. and Schreiner University (Texas) at 8 p.m.
