The Central College wrestling team won 18 of their 20 matches Wednesday night, to defeat William Penn University 29-10 and Schreiner University (Texas) 59-0.
The Dutch had a pair of pins in the final bout of each match as Samuel Zook needed just over six minutes of mat time to earn 12 points. Luke Condy was 2-0 on the night, picking up an 8-3 decision against William Penn and a 17-1 technical fall against Schreiner. Cooper Stigsell battled back from an early 6-1 deficit against William Penn for a 10-9 win.
The two wins improved Central’s overall dual record to 11-4. Central wraps up the dual season with a trip to American Rivers Conference foe Simpson College in Indianola tonight at 7 p.m.
