The city of Knoxville needs employees. City Manager Heather Ussery tells KNIA/KRLS News that the cemetery and parks departments are in need of applicants.

“Each year we have seasonal and summer part time help that is in our cemetery as well as our parks department, and the last couple years it’s been kind of a struggle to get those applicants and those are instrumental to the overall look of our departments in those summer times. We need that extra help and so we are definitely seeking applicants for that.”

To apply for a position with the cemetery go to Knoxville City Hall. For an application to work with the Knoxville Parks department visit the Knoxville Recreation Center. The deadline to apply for these positions is February 18th.
