The Central College basketball teams make the long road trip to Decorah this afternoon to take on Luther College in a women’s and men’s American Rivers Conference doubleheader.

The Central women’s basketball team comes into the contest 1-1 on the week, having rallied for a 12-point victory over Nebraska Wesleyan on Monday before falling to #19 Wartburg on Wednesday. This will be the first meeting for the two women’s teams, as the early season matchup was postponed due to COVID protocols. 

The Dutch come into the men’s game off of a stunning 73-72 upset of Wartburg on Wednesday. Central will be looking for a measure of revenge against the Norse, who defeated the Dutch 61-53 in the first game between the two programs back on January 15th.
