Marion County Bank’s halftime entertainment at the Pella vs. Pella Christian basketball games on Thursday night earned the schools a $5,375 donation from Marion County Bank.

Students from both schools worked together in the event by shooting layups, free throws, three pointers and half court shots to earn a donation from Marion County Bank.

The funds raised this week will be combined with the Halftime Shootout winnings earned during the first Pella vs Pella Christian games on Thursday, January 13 at Pella High School, which amounts to $8,725. That total will be split evenly between the two Student Activity funds.

Since 2007, over $115,000 has been given to Pella Community High and Pella Christian High from Marion County Bank during the halftime events.
