The Melcher-Dallas Boys Basketball Squad fought hard, but came up short in its first round class 1A District match up at BCLUW 65-55 on Friday. The Saints fell down early 31-18 at the half, but made a run to tie it at 50. But Coach John Suntken told KNIA Sports his team hit another dry spell and could not recover. Chase Ripperger scored 30 points to lead the Saints who finished the season 4-17.
