The Indianola Chamber of Commerce held their annual luncheon Thursday afternoon, celebrating the past year for local businesses and members, and recognizing members of the community for their hard work.

Community members who received awards include:

Distinguished Chamber Leader – Nate Fehl

Emerging Business – Brandy Werner – Willow Moon Apothecary

Educator of the Year – Kent Halstead

Simpson College Emerging Leader Award – Doug Gaumer – West Hill Brewing Company

Steven G. Pfeiffer Volunteer of the Year Award – Rick Barnard

The virtual lunch was hosted by Chamber President and CEO Brenda Easter, who along with other board members and Mayor Stephanie Erickson, discussed the many successes of the community over the past year including the streetscape project and business recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
