Of the seven combined wrestlers that competed at district play Saturday for Southeast Warren/Melcher-Dallas and Pleasantville, three will go to Wells Fargo Arena.
The Trojans’ Caleb Cook at 126 lbs won his first-place match over Garrett Cole of Van Meter by fall, becoming the only Trojan to win his weight class Saturday. Kitt Lundy at 132 lbs finished second in his weight class, winning his second-place matchup by no contest over Van Meter’s Mason Drake. At 160 lbs, Dillen Ammons won his second-place match over Isaiah Smith of Interstate-35 by fall. Kael Caikowski at 113 lbs finished third in his weight class for Southeast Warren/Melcher-Dallas, winning his third-place match by fall over Eli Harris of Nodaway Valley. Caikowski lost the second-place match to Tage Monahan of Panorama.
Cook, Lundy, and Ammons will represent Pleasantville at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines this week.
