After disposing of Moulton-Udell on Friday, the Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad will play another Bluegrass Conference opponent in the second round of the class 1A district on Monday as the Sabers will travel to play #1 seed in the district Moravia. The Mohawks, who were the Bluegrass Conference regular season champions, rolled past the Sabers on December 14th 68-25. Coach Brad McWilliams admits Monday night will be a tough challenge, but he is already pleased with his team’s accomplishments this season…

McWilliams: “It’s great for them we have seven wins. I think if you asked anyone, four wins would have been a great accomplishment, but they’ve played well and hopefully we can get a couple wins at the end of the season.”

Tip off from Moravia will be at 7:00. The winner will get either Lamoni or Mormon Trail on Thursday.
