The Pella School Board received a report on the change process for K-6 behavioral support positions at their meeting Monday. The process includes adding elementary student success coordinators and K-6 dean of students. A public hearing was scheduled on March 7th to receive bids and approve a contract for construction of the Caldwell Park tennis courts and the board approved a request to the School Budget Review Committee of $18,000 related to the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program as part of the district’s response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. A high school gym equipment proposal and a final review of the 700 policies in the district handbook were also approved by the Pella School Board.
