The Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad will start the postseason road tonight at home against Carlisle. The Panthers come in after a 10-11 season and got a home game over 7-14 Carlisle. The Panthers are in class 4A this season and with that comes a tougher road in the regionals plus playing teams that have had much better competition than the Panther see in the South Central Conference. Panthers Coach Matt Ritchhart tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the Wildcats will have multiple defenses.

Ritchhart “…They’ll do a 1-2-2 ¾ court press then they’ll move into a 1-2-2 half court. We’ve been working on that and other things they do and hopefully come out with a win.”
