The Knoxville High School Drama department is hosting performances of Disney’s The Descendants: The Musical on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday March 4th, 5th, and 6th at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center. Director Heidi Feldman tells KNIA/KRLS News that the cast and crew have been hard at work, and that everyone is enjoying the preparation for the show.

“The cast has been working really hard. We have about 50 kids on and off stage participating this year. The show itself, I’m really excited that we are creating some Disney magic here in Knoxville. This is my first Disney show that I’ve directed, so I’ve been having a lot of fun coming up with all the fun Disney easter eggs and putting hidden Mickeys on the set and coming up with really fun characters that our audience will recognize.”

There will be a meet and greet on Saturday that is an additional $10/family, giving kids a chance to go onstage to meet and take pictures with their favorite characters!
