With the season completed, Pleasantville’s boys’ basketball squad will graduate six seniors from their roster.

 

The Trojans will graduate three starters from their lineup, who are Mason Scheve, Andrew Pender, and Taylon Mount. Scheve will graduate from Pleasantville as the Trojans’ fourth all-time leading scorer with 1,254 points. Scheve became the ninth player in Pleasantville history to eclipse 1,000 career points. Pender, who came to Pleasantville as a transfer and only played one season, will graduate as the third-leading scorer and second-leading three-point shooter during the regular season. Pender averaged just over ten points per game while shooting 35.5% from beyond the arc. Mount will graduate from Pleasantville as a two-year starter that shot 30% lifetime from three-point range. Pleasantville will also graduate bench players Bristol Huyck, Nicholas Martin, and Larry Remster.

 

Pleasantville finished the 2021-22 season with a 12-10 record and a 9-6 record in West Central Conference play.
