The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Monday night. The council unanimously approved the appointment of Janet Evans to the Knoxville Library Board.  The council also approved a resolution adopting the 2022/23 budget for the Knoxville Waterworks and also approved the setting of a public hearing  for March 7th at 6:15pm regarding the 2022 Water reclamation improvement project.  The council held a public hearing  regarding the Maximum Property Tax Dollars for fiscal year 2022/2023. The  council approved the Maximum Property Tax Dollars for fiscal year 2022/2023. Finally, the council set a public hearing for March 7th at 6:15 P.M. to approve the fiscal year 2022/2023 budget.

After concluding the regular session, they went into closed session, and after discussion, voted to enter into negotiations for the property at 314 West Robinson Street.
