The Marion County 4H First Tech Challenge Robotics team competed in the  First Tech Challenge Iowa State Championship.  Coach Ethan Book tells KNIA/KRLS about the experience

 

“ It was a great weekend for us that went better than expected

“We had Caleb Book, Logan Keeney, Wayne Horner and Tom Meinders. It was our basic team but there were kids from all over the state 48 teams competed.”

“ They were split up into two divisions. We were in the black division and we placed third out of Twenty-Four teams putting us in the playoffs. “We won our first matchup which was a best of three but lost our next to who would go on to win the state championship.””

The competition was held in Coralville
