The Norwalk Warrior’s boys basketball team will face the Johnston Dragons in the Class 4A Group 8 Substate Semifinal tonight in Johnston. The Warriors will have a tough task in front of them as they face a Johnston squad with only three losses on the season, the last coming back on January 28th.

Norwalk hopes to carry some momentum into the game following their win on Monday vs Des Moines Roosevelt which was their third straight. To have success tonight the Warriors will try to control the pace of play and force Johnston to play a slowed down defensive game while also controlling the basketball and limiting turnovers.

The key for the Warriors will be to slow down Johnston senior Trey Lewis who comes into tonight’s contest averaging just over 22 points per game.
