After another run to the district finals, PCM’s boys’ basketball squad will graduate six seniors from their roster.

The Mustangs will have just one starter returning, who is Jacob Wendt. Carson Vandelune, Durant Van Dyke, Cade Lindsay, and Matt Rosonke will all be graduating. Also moving on will be bench players Keaton Thomas and Drake Roorda. PCM will be bringing back their sixth man also, Gavin Van Gorp, who is a contender for the starting lineup next season. Other players returning are Kaleb and Darrell DeVries, Grant Van Veen, and Brayden Nessa.

PCM finished the 2021-22 season with a 14-10 record, a 9-5 Heart of Iowa Conference record and a district final loss to No. 7 in Class 2A Des Moines Christian.
