The winter season is well underway and Marion County Engineer Tyler Christian updates KNIA/KRLS News on how the county’s supplies are doing so far.
“Very well actually. We are just getting ready to order our salt for next winter. Currently, our supply is doing very well. We will save close to $50,000, which is about half of our budget going into next winter due to the limited use this winter.”
Christian mentioned that the county is looking good on overtime hours as they have had under 10 snow events so far this season
