Warren County residents who wish to learn more about their Medicare plans or applications can attend a free seminar this afternoon. The Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) is hosting an informational seminar that will review Medicare Part A and B, Prescription Drug Benefits, Advantage Plans, Supplement Insurance, and fraud, errors, and abuse. Elodie Opstad with SHIIP tells KNIA News SHIIP is available to not only help set up plans and processes for prescriptions and doctor visits, but also to help prevent any misinformation that can be floating around about the healthcare system.
