PCM’s girls’ basketball squad improved the Heart of Iowa Conference win total by two, and they owe it to their tough defense.

The Mustangs had three conference wins in 2020-21, and they improved their win total to five this season. For the second straight year, PCM swept Saydel, putting forth their highest scoring efforts of the season in the two games. The Mustangs put up 55 and 48 points against the Eagles. PCM also swept Greene County this season as well as stealing a victory against the newest Heart of Iowa Conference opponent, Perry. The Mustangs put up 40 points in every Heart of Iowa Conference victory this season.

PCM finished the 2021-22 season with a 6-17 record and a 5-9 record in Heart of Iowa Conference record.
