Additional moderate snowfall could impact the region again as a late-season winter system pushes through the state. According to the National Weather Service, 1-3 inches of snow could fall starting late tonight and continuing through Friday morning, especially south of Highway 92. Travel could be difficult Thursday, especially for those traveling to the Pella Christian state tournament game vs. Central Lyon. This comes after 4-6 inches of snow fell early Monday across the region. A cold trend continues through Saturday, with afternoon highs in the 20s. More mild conditions return by early next week.
