The Pella Police Department’s School Resource Officer is back at duty after two and a half months of medical leave. JR Pearson made his return to Pella Christian Grade School Wednesday, and did so to an ovation and special welcome from the students and staff. Pearson had been receiving treatment for cancer at Mayo Clinic.
