The Indianola City Council set the brush facility services for 2022, including setting dates for the spring and fall cleanups, as well as electronic and hazardous waste collection. Interim City Manager Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News residents will soon be able to use the popular service.

“The brush facility will be open from Saturday, April 2nd through November 20th. We’ll also look at extending those dates in the fall if we need to, in the years I’ve been here it seems every fall we do extend those out as weather does allow. Obviously the facility will be closed on holidays, as we as a city staff the facility and our employees take holidays.”

Dissell also said the free yard waste disposal dates this year will be April 2nd through April 17th, then again in the fall from October 29th through November 20th. Find more information about the brush facility below.
