For the Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad to improve from five wins this past season, the Panthers are going to have to, according to Coach Troy Pearson, put in work this offseason. However Pearson says that work is something that his guys should look forward to and builds team culture along with it.
Pearson: “We’re not going to get any better without work. You call it work, but it’s fun to get in the gym and get up shots and do ball handling drills and get into the weight room. Everyone calls it work, but the kids know it’s fun.”
Knoxville finished 5-17 this season. He says there are not any goals set for next season at the moment, but he has confidence that his team will win more than five games next year.
