Pleasantville’s girls’ track squad opened the season competing at the IATC Indoor Track Meet at Iowa State Thursday.

The Trojans had two individual top-five finishes in the meet. Amy Kish placed fourth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.4 seconds. Sophia Mason placed fifth in the long jump, jumping a length of 14’ 11.5”. Pleasantville’s top team finish came in the 4×100 meter relay with a time of 54.77 seconds. Running in the relay was Kish, Madilyn Rowson, Alex Blackford, and Sophia Mason.

Pleasantville’s first outdoor meet of the year will be March 29th at Pella Christian.
