Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend. Residents are reminded to set their clocks one hour forward to reflect the change that occurs at 2:00 a.m. Sunday. “Check your batteries make sure you have fresh batteries in there, at the same time you take down your smoke detector you can check the date on it. Smoke detectors have a 10-year life span so you may need to replace them altogether. You can also check your radon detector and any other gas detectors.”
