The Pella boys basketball team was hoping to make it back-to-back state championships this winter, and very well might be playing today for that accomplishment if it wasn’t for the Winterset Huskies ending the Dutch winter sports season at Substate last week.

But the athletes and coaches from Pella are reminding the community that there is more to life than the game on the court. The Dutch spent this Friday before spring break helping the Winterset community by cleaning up storm damage from the deadly EF-4 tornado that hit the community this past weekend.
