Spring break for students is next week and If you are looking for things to do, Holly Shelford the Youth Services Librarian at the Knoxville Public Library, tells KNIA/KRLS News about spring break programs for kids and families.
“We have a long spring break here in the Knoxville school district so we decided to come up with some things to do for the kids. On Tuesday, March 15 we are going to be holding a family bingo night from 6 pm-7:30 pm. So what we want you to do is to bring your family for a fun night of bingo. We do ask that you call ahead to the library to reserve a table because we do have limited seating available. Then on Wednesday, March 15 from 1 pm-3 pm we will be doing Legos for fun for ages 2-17. We have numerous sets of Legos and we are going to put those out in our community room. On Thursday, March 17 we are going to have Crafting with Kids from 10 am-12 pm. We will have craft projects for the kids to do and to take with them.”
