The Indianola School Board announced the hiring of Ted Ihns as the new district superintendent, who is set to start in July. Board President Rob Keller tells KNIA News the board outlined goals of what qualities they wanted a potential superintendent to have from the start.

“We determined that the individual we hired would need to be a leader of leaders, they would need to have outstanding communication skills, engaged and visible in the community, and that person most importantly would need to have unquestionable integrity, moral, and ethical character.”

Ihns is featured on today’s In Depth with Dr. Bob Leonard, and the full interview with Keller can be heard on today’s Let’s Talk Indianola.
