As weather warms across the region, more pedestrian and bicycle traffic is expected to increase, and the Pella Police Department reminds all residents to avoid driving distracted to ensure all are safe as spring begins soon.
Pella Police Captain Paul Haase says walkers, runners, and bikers will be increasing throughout area communities as weather continues to warm and snow melts away, and visitor traffic will also increase in Pella as Tulip Time inches closer. He says all who plan to be on the roads to be cautious and aware of their surroundings to ensure safety during spring-time weather.
