While much of the Knoxville Boys Track and Field Squad is made up of freshmen and sophomores, the Panthers do have a good amount of returning athletes. Coach Eric Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that while he is not putting the weight of the world on their shoulders, there are expectations for his upperclassmen.

Kellar: “We don’t expect Kaden McGill to run a 2:10 800 we expect him to run a 2:00 flat, Seth’s back so we know what he can do, and TJ we’ll have to see what events he’ll be in.”

Kellar adds several dual sport guys that will play soccer. He adds in the throws new coach Doug Bacon will help out in that department and is excited to bring him on. The Panthers get their season started on March 29th at Pella Christian.
