Three Simpson women’s basketball athletes were recognized by D3Hoops.com to the All-Region Team as Jenna Taylor, Cassie Nash and Cameron Kincaid were all recognized as some of the best performers in NCAA Division III Region 9.
Taylor was named to the All-Region First Team, and averaged 16.6 points per contest and 7.8 rebounds and was named as the American Rivers Conference MVP, and became just the second player to score over 1,600 points and grab over 700 rebounds, finishing third all-time in both categories for the school.
Nash was named to the All-Region Second Team, as she averaged 14.8 points per game, had the ninth highest FG% in the country shooting 57.9% from the field, and led the American Rivers Conference in steals with 89, the second most all time for the conference.
Kincaid was named to the All-Region Third Team, after averaging 13.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, while leading the nation with a 92.2% free throw percentage. Kincaid crossed the 1,000 point mark and 500 rebound for the Storm program this season, becoming just the ninth player to do so in program history.
