Starting today, the temporary streetlights installed during Phase 1 of the Indianola Streetscape Project will be replaced with the permanent streetlights. Due to shipping delays, the temporary streetlights were set in December prior to the reopening of the roads. Interim City Manager Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News crews will work on the block of Salem Ave between Buxton and Howard today, and Buxton Street between Salem and Ashland tomorrow. Parking spaces around the individual poles will be closed during this time, and will reopen once the permanent street lights are installed.
