With a few more options at his disposal this season, Knoxville Boys Track and Field Coach Eric Kellar is free to use a few different combinations in relays and events to see who is the right one when conference comes around. Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that they will play around with line ups to see who is capable of scoring points and sometimes their finishing results at some meets will not reflect their true ability.

Kellar : “We’d love to win a meet or 2 but it’s just not set up that way. We were injured at the conference, if Tyler Kearney was healthy and others we probably win the conference.”

The Panthers are heavy on freshmen and sophomores this season but they do have several upperclassmen that are bidding for conference titles and possibly State Meet appearances. Knoxville gets the season underway March 29th at Pella Christian.
