In their second year following a nine-year hiatus, the Pella Christian boys tennis program is seeing a growing interest in participation. The Eagles have nearly 20 guys out for tennis this season after only having 10 players last year. Head Coach Aaron Fitzgerald said that the growing interest in tennis has led to the addition of two coaches which will help with the varying degrees of knowledge among those on the team.

“Coming down to adding two additional coaches this year, really that’s going to give us the ability to split guys out as we see different ability levels kind of bubble up to the surface that we can really focus on what each player is going to need this season to keep growing.”

The Pella Christian boys tennis season begins on Monday, April 4th when they travel to Albia for a match at Albia City Park.
