With so many new faces on the Melcher-Dallas Girls Track and Field Squad this spring, the Saints will take a little longer to figure out the combinations for relays and open events. Coach Amy Stuart tells KNIA Sports only three girls are actually penciled into events, but the rest will have to figure out in the next few weeks.

Stuart: “With all the new faces and the new combinations I’m going to have. Most of the girls returning want to do the same things, so we’ll have to look for a replacement for J’Lyn so that might hurt us.”

Right now BrieAnna Remster is set for the shot put, also Gabby Overgaard, the younger sister of State Qualifier Grace is in throwing events. The Saints get their season underway on April 4th at Nodaway Valley.
