Marion County Emergency Management with the help of Hy-Vee is holding two events this week as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week. Emily Feagins, Assistant EMA/911 Coordinator tells KNIA/KRLS news what’s happening:

“I will be assisting people on getting them signed up for our new Marion County alert system, and I can also program weather radios if you bring them in.

Feagins will be at the Pella Hy-Vee from 2-4 pm today, and at the Knoxville Hy-Vee from 2-4 Friday.
