Central College freshman relief pitcher Wes Hamor has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week for games March 14th-20th.

In his first two games with the Dutch, Hamor was lights out on the mound. In two appearances, he struck out eight over 5.0 innings of work while allowing 1 hit and no walks. Against Knox College on March 15th, he came in for a three-inning save, striking out six of nine batters faced. Against SUNY – Poly on March 18th, he picked up the win after holding the Wildcats scoreless for the final two frames before a Central walk-off win.

Central is 9-1 this season, riding a seven-game winning streak to close out its trip to Florida. The Dutch host Buena Vista University in a three-game weekend series starting Friday at 3 p.m.
