PCM’s soccer squad will be focusing on scoring more after mustering just ten total goals the previous season.

The Mustangs scored in six of their 14 matches last season, with the most goals scored in one game being three. PCM scored three goals in both of their wins, which were a 3-0 win over Atlantic and a 3-2 overtime win over Chariton. Carson Vandelune and Tyler Kuecker combined to score seven of the ten goals for the Mustangs the previous season, with Kuecker scoring four. The Mustangs will also be looking to improve defensively, with goalkeeper Alex Egland, Gabe Hobbs, Kyle Sanders, and Caden Bouwkamp all expected to make an impact.

PCM opens their season Tuesday at home against Sigourney-Keota.
