A labyrinth has returned to Pella. Pastor Sophie Mathonett-Vanderwell at Second Reformed Church in Pella says Christianity has adopted the pattern and path as a tool for prayer and meditation. She says they are often confused with mazes — which are a challenge, whereas a labyrinth is intended to allow an individual to calm one’s self. Second Reformed Church is hosting a labyrinth that is free and open to the public today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hear more about the Second Reformed Church labyrinth on the In Depth podcast at KNIAKRLS.com.
