Two weeks removed from a fantastic senior basketball season, Pella Christian’s Eric Mulder received another accolade. The 6’9” Senior was named to the Des Moines Register’s All-Iowa Class 2A 1st Team.

Last week, Mulder became the 9th Eagles player in Pella Christian history to earn Class 2A 1st team All-State recognition from the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association. Additionally, Eric was named to the Class 2A All-Tournament team after posting dominant double-doubles in both of the Eagles games at the State Tournament, on top of being unanimously named to the All-Little Hawkeye Conference First Team. Eagles Head Coach J.D. Boer says Eric possesses a unique blend of size and athleticism that allows him to impact the game in many ways. Boer also stated that Mulder’s daily work habits are what he appreciates most about Eric, and says the senior forward has a bright future in basketball moving forward. 

Mulder will continue his academic and basketball career next school year at Purdue University Fort Wayne in Indiana.
