Pella Christian High School is sending its largest ever group to All-State Individual Speech. The following students were nominated from Eagle Lane and earned the highest possible honor from the Iowa High School Speech Association:

Trent Van Gilst – Lit Program
Laurey Johnson – Storytelling, Improv
Abby Dart – Musical Theatre
Mia Andringa – Storytelling

Van Gilst is a 10-time event nominee and has qualified all four years of participation — a first from PCHS. The group will join several area students and those from across the state at the All-State Speech Festival at the University of Northern Iowa on Monday.
