The Indianola School Board approved the plans and specs for the Indianola Middle School Interior Renovation Project at their most recent meeting, setting the project up to begin this summer. Superintendent Art Sathoff tells KNIA News
“That project centers on the library media center as well as the back part of an industrial technology room, and it comes down to using space as efficiently as we can within that building. Taking some unutilized storage or larger classroom areas and repurposing them for some different purposes. It’s important to get those approved so we can go out to bid on that and get the clock ticking on the project.”
Sathoff also said there are some material displays that everyone is dealing with right now, but the plan is to get the bid later this spring and begin construction in June.
