Marion County residents have less than a week to pay their property taxes. Marion County Treasurer Michaela Bigaouette tells KNIA/KRLS News there are many different ways residents can pay.

“You can still come in with no appointment necessary. We’ve added a drop box on the south side of the courthouse that’s 24/7. You can pay by or by phone with a credit card but there is a 2.25% fee if you do so and you can also pay online. We are continually expanding our pay online options. One thing we have added is partial payments. I really encourage residents to look into this. We are always happy to set up partial or scheduled payments that will help residents pay on time.

The deadline for property tax payments is March 31
