An offensive outburst kicked off the season for PCM’s soccer squad as they came away with a 6-0 shutout victory over Sigourney-Keota.

The six goals the Mustangs scored in their opening match is nearly as many as they scored all of last season. PCM also got their first win of the season after having just two victories in 2021. Tyler Kuecker led the way for the Mustangs, scoring four of the team’s six goals. The other two were scored by Carson Vandelune and Caden Boukamp. Justin Johnston had two assists for PCM. With the win, PCM starts off their season 1-0.

The Mustangs will be back in action for their next match Thursday for their first road match of the year at Pella Christian.
