Indianola Municipal Utilities and the IMU Board of Trustees have released a response to allegations made by former Mayor Pam Pepper and the Indianola City Council in 2021 that included asking several IMU Board of Trustees members to resign.

The report outlines responses to the allegations that include the lack of strategic planning, software conversion, IMU’s involvement in the Streetscape Project, inappropriate use of closed sessions, an audit of IMU, lack of communication with elected officials and ratepayers, and lack of training among others.
