Property taxes are due today. Marion County Treasurer Michaela Bigaouette tells KNIA/KRLS News there are many different ways residents can pay.

“You can still come in with no appointment necessary. We’ve added a drop box on the south side of the courthouse that’s 24/7. You can pay by or by phone with a credit card but there is a 2.25% fee if you do so and you can also pay online. We are continually expanding our pay online options. 

Residents will be assessed a 1.5% penalty if taxes are received late.
