Great Southern Bank in Knoxville presented the Knoxville Booster Club with a $1,000 check. Knoxville Booster Club member Barry Smith spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about what the funds will be used for. 

“We’ll distribute the funds amongst different activities as we have quite a bit of things going on in the booster club right now. Once we get to the end of the season we will start to look at the 2022-23 school year and go from there.”

The funds given to the Knoxville Booster Club came from a promotion that Great Southern Bank ran from August 1 through October 15 of last year, where for every new deposit account, $10 was donated to support high school activities.
