The Indianola girls soccer team faced off against a pair of tough opponents at a tournament hosted by Urbandale Saturday, falling to the host J-Hawks 4-0 and Waverly-Shellrock 6-0 in cold and windy conditions. Head coach Erin Ebling tells KNIA News the Indians will have to continue to try and build on their strengths as a team, including using their quickness up front and some powerful midfielders to drive the ball up the pitch and take advantage of pace. The road does not get easier for the Indians, as they start Little Hawkeye Conference competition hosting Pella Monday.
